Company History

The Massillon Daily Herald newspaper was issued daily in the Massillon, Ohio area for over five decades, starting in 1922.

In 1961, the Sports section of the daily paper included “baseball paper cards” below the baseball box scores during the baseball season.

While the design of these paper cards was rather crude, they did match conventional card dimensions of 2.5″ x 3.5″ and offered over 200 different players.
