Years in Production
Lake Foods was a producer of a variety of frozen foods, cereals, and baked goods.
Lake Foods never actually produced cards, rather, starting in 1960 they would offer (in intermittent years) inserts in various packaging of baseball stickers.
Lake Foods stickers have always been considered to be the inspiration for other cereal and food issues that came later in the 1960’s and 1970’s, such as Kellogg’s, Hostess, and Post/Jello, to name a few.
The final Lake Foods stickers were issued in 1975, just prior to the company being purchased by General Mills.
